Technical Field Engineer

Role Overview

As a Technical Field Engineer located in Rhodes, New South Wales, you will be involved in installing, diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing computer-related hardware such as desktops and laptops. This position supports users across Australia and includes performing break-fix tasks, software installations, and warranty repairs for a major multinational vendor. Access to vendor-accredited training is provided, enhancing your professional expertise.

Key Responsibilities

• Install and service computer products, including conducting repairs and software setups.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.
• Adhere to service level agreements and key performance indicators.
• Maintain detailed documentation of all incidents and troubleshooting processes.
• Deliver excellent customer service while building strong client relationships.
• Work flexible hours to meet client needs.
• Follow processes and procedures meticulously.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Prior experience in a similar technical field service role, ideally 1-2 years.
• Technical proficiency with iOS and Microsoft software installation and configuration.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
• Professional demeanor, reliable, and service-oriented.
• Ability to understand and work within established KPIs and SLAs.
• Possession of Australian citizenship or permanent residency is required.
