Team Member - Rochedale

Role overview

Ampol is looking for a Retail Team Member to support its Rochedale South store. The role is centered on creating a smooth, friendly customer experience in a busy convenience retail environment where people come in for fuel, everyday essentials, and quick service.

What you will do

• Provide prompt, helpful service and aim to leave customers satisfied with every interaction.
• Assist the Store Manager with day-to-day retail operations using your prior store experience.
• Work closely with the team to keep the store running smoothly and efficiently.
• Maintain strong attention to detail, especially around safety and accuracy.
• Handle merchandising, stock control, inventory tasks, POS transactions, and cash balancing as part of your shift duties.
• Be available for rotating shifts, including weekends and overnight work when required.

Experience and capabilities

The company prefers applicants who already have retail or customer service experience. You should be comfortable using a POS system, handling cash accurately, communicating clearly, and working well with others. Flexibility across a seven-day roster is essential, including nights and weekends.
