Supply Chain Manager

Role Overview

We are seeking a Supply Chain Manager to spearhead global supply planning and strategy, ensuring seamless coordination between demand, capacity, and inventory across the organization. You will partner closely with Brand and Regional Planning teams to convert long-term forecasts into actionable production and capacity plans while owning the global supply forecast to streamline decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead comprehensive global supply planning, aligning demand forecasts with capacity and inventory targets.
• Collaborate with Brand and Regional teams to convert strategic plans into production needs, vendor allocations, and material requirements.
• Develop and oversee seasonal buying plans including purchase order placement strategies, timelines, and managing exceptions such as long lead times and minimum order quantities.
• Manage monthly procurement schedules, coordinating cross-functional teams for flawless execution and system readiness.
• Work alongside capacity planning units to identify and mitigate supply risks through actions like vendor reallocation, pre-builds, schedule adjustments, and capacity expansions.
• Partner with material planners to balance lead times with supply risks and prioritize products and regions under supply constraints.
• Drive performance improvements by monitoring KPIs such as On-Time Performance, Buy Acceptance Rate, Fill Rate, and adherence to schedules.
• Analyze supply chain data to flag gaps and opportunities, reporting supply status and risks to leadership.
• Champion process standardization, automation, and continuous improvement to elevate planning efficiency.
• Foster open communication between global and regional teams to ensure clear priorities and aligned planning practices.

Candidate Profile

Experience & Knowledge

• 5 to 8 years in supply chain roles, primarily focusing on supply or capacity planning.
• Comprehensive understanding of end-to-end supply chain elements including demand, production, materials, and logistics.
• Proven track record working in global matrixed organizations with cross-regional influence.

Skills

• Strong analytical skills with experience in scenario planning and capacity modeling.
• Expertise with planning software such as SAP, Oracle, or JDA.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel; knowledge of Power BI or Tableau is advantageous.
• Effective communication abilities to engage and influence multiple stakeholders.
