About Tata Advanced Systems Limited - H125 Program
The H125 Program at Tata Advanced Systems Limited (TASL), located in Vemagal, Karnataka, represents a milestone in aerospace manufacturing. It is the first private-sector helicopter Final Assembly Line (FAL) in India, developed in collaboration with Airbus Helicopters. This facility focuses on producing, assembling, integrating, testing, and delivering one of the world's leading single-engine light helicopters.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the entire supply chain process to guarantee materials are available promptly, logistics function efficiently, and inventory levels are optimized to meet production and business needs.
- Ensure consistent material availability to support uninterrupted production and operations.
- Enhance supplier performance, increase procurement efficiency, and optimize costs.
- Manage logistics, warehouse operations, and inventory control effectively.
- Adhere strictly to company policies and quality standards.
- Maintain comprehensive supply chain management documentation, generate reports, and develop dashboards for performance tracking.
- Coordinate and manage internal and external audits ensuring compliance with relevant standards.
- Handle vendor relationships including managing contracts and agreements.
- Monitor and report on key supply chain performance indicators such as inventory turnover, On-Time In-Full (OTIF) delivery, and cost savings.
- Plan procurement activities including placing orders and following up with suppliers to align with production schedules.
- Evaluate supplier performance focusing on quality, delivery timelines, and cost to drive continuous improvements.
- Supervise inventory management, warehouse functions, and work towards stock optimization.
Requirements
- Extensive experience is essential, with a minimum of 12 years in supply chain management.
