Supply Chain and Procurement Consultant

Overview

We are looking for a proactive IT Business Partner to lead the implementation of Supply Chain Analytics and develop dashboards that enhance visibility into business performance. This role involves partnering closely with both the business and IT teams to define meaningful KPIs, ensure data accuracy and completeness, and foster effective data governance. You will work to improve sourcing, purchasing, and supplier management through smart use of technology. The position follows a hybrid work model, balancing remote work with onsite collaboration to support stakeholder engagement.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the primary IT liaison for Supply Chain and Procurement teams concerning analytics and dashboards.
• Coordinate and contribute to workshops defining KPIs and dashboard requirements, securing business approval.
• Collaborate with IT teams in solution development, requirement clarification, validation, and deployment support.
• Own data governance for dashboards, ensuring data completeness, timeliness, and correctness.
• Assist in establishing logical and physical control towers to monitor operational KPIs and performance.
• Onboard business users, manage access rights, and conduct relevant training.
• Identify and implement opportunities for ongoing improvements.
• Provide functional user support and ensure timely resolution of production issues.
• Manage demand intake, prioritize needs, and align with procurement and IT roadmaps.
• Ensure compliance with IT governance, security, and regulatory standards.

Required Skills and Experience

• 8 to 10 years of IT experience strongly connected with Supply Chain and Procurement functions and processes.
• Hands-on involvement in ERP implementations related to Materials Management, Production Planning, Sales & Distribution, and Logistics.
• At least 3 years experience automating data pipelines and developing dashboards and analytics, specifically for Supply Chain or similar domains.
• Adept at translating business needs into clear functional specifications.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities.
• Experience in managing incidents, driving enhancements, and leading continuous improvement efforts.
• Familiarity with Agile or hybrid project management approaches is advantageous.
