Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee teams of service engineers, technicians, skilled workers, and crews involved in after-sales tasks such as maintenance, repair, and technical support for Everllence machinery including engines, turbochargers, and automation systems.
- Create and enforce Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure excellent service delivery for corporate clients.
- Devise and apply enhancement strategies aimed at improving after-sales processes and customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with internal departments to coordinate smooth service execution and prompt technical problem-solving.
- Provide technical expertise and onsite assistance to clients, which includes traveling to various locations for operational supervision.
- Stay current with evolving maritime engine technologies and decarbonization innovations.
- Plan, supervise, and monitor maintenance projects; measure progress against plans and implement corrective measures when required.
- Coordinate operational activities to guarantee successful outcomes in services and projects.
- Promote best practices within your scope of responsibility.
- Conduct repairs on 2-stroke and 4-stroke diesel engines and components, followed by technical support for vessels and power plants.
- Compile customer reports, take part in scheduled training seminars, and maintain rigorous standards in documentation and communication internally.
Qualifications Required
- Degree in Engineering, Marine Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Five to seven years of pertinent experience, preferably with heavy machinery or equipment; maritime industry experience is critical.
- Robust technical expertise in maritime engines and associated systems.
- Exceptional leadership, coordination, and team management skills.
- Analytical, structured problem-solving abilities.
- Aptitude to work effectively in a rapidly changing, detail-oriented environment.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, presentation, and cross-cultural abilities.
- High ethical standards with dedication to safety and compliance.
- Professional demeanor, team spirit, and a proactive, solution-focused attitude.
