Strategy Consultant - AI Training & Evaluation

About the Role

Mindrift, supported by Toloka, a pioneer in AI and machine learning data since 2014, is launching a specialized Management Consulting domain to transform real consulting engagements into structured learning environments for advanced AI technologies. We seek seasoned strategy consultants from premier firms to translate genuine project experiences into comprehensive, real-world scenarios that train AI in advanced business reasoning skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop authentic consulting project scenarios reflecting real engagement dynamics such as industry context, financial data, constraints, and incomplete or conflicting information.
• Design structured tasks for AI agents representing core consulting activities including market sizing, due diligence, cost optimization, growth strategies, benchmarking, and operational diagnostics.
• Create evaluation frameworks featuring grading rubrics and standard solutions utilized to train and calibrate large language model-based grading systems assessing AI outputs.

Candidate Profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience at top strategy firms: McKinsey & Company, Boston Consulting Group, Bain & Company, Oliver Wyman, Roland Berger, Monitor Deloitte, EY-Parthenon, Kearney, or Strategy&.
• Proven skills in structuring ambiguous business problems into analytical plans.
• Experience in developing financial models, market analyses, and synthesizing complex information.
• Track record of producing high-quality client deliverables under tight deadlines.
• Capability to formulate and defend recommendations amid uncertainty.
• Strong hypothesis-driven and structured problem-solving abilities with meticulous attention to logical consistency.
• Independent working style and proficient written English communication at B2 level or higher.
• No advanced technical or programming knowledge required; onboarding for necessary tools will be provided.

Compensation and Employment Details

This is a freelance, project-based, remote opportunity focusing on analytical design and evaluation. Contributors may earn up to $60 per hour, depending on expertise and speed of work. Compensation varies across projects based on complexity and requirements. Other projects on the platform may offer different pay scales.
