What the job involves

The role focuses on safe, accurate, and timely warehouse activity. Store Persons are expected to keep the storeroom clean, well organised, and safe, while picking, packing, and dispatching orders efficiently. Safety is treated as a priority at all times, with a strong emphasis on helping everyone return home safely.

This position also involves physical and operational tasks such as lifting, bending, climbing, and safe driving or machine use.

Key duties

Pick, pack, and send out orders
Work to deadlines and maintain timely turnaround
Provide customer service support when required
Assist colleagues across the team as needed
Keep the storeroom organised and safe
Support a safety-first culture in line with the goal of making it safe and making it home

What they are looking for

Prior warehouse experience, especially in receipting and dispatch
Strong accuracy and close attention to detail
Driver’s licence and forklift licence are beneficial
Ability to handle physical work, including lifting up to 20 kg
Commitment to safety and to building effective working relationships
Willingness to learn and improve
Good communication and organisational ability
A strong drive to perform well and raise standards continuously
