Role Overview
The Kingston office is seeking qualified candidates for a Staff Auditor position. This is a full-time, on-site role that involves executing audit assignments such as examining financial statements, evaluating internal controls, and ensuring adherence to regulatory standards. The auditor is also responsible for preparing comprehensive reports, coordinating with colleagues to validate information, and suggesting improvements for financial processes and systems.
Qualifications and Experience
- Undergraduate degree in accounting and current enrollment in a professional certification program like ACCA, CPA, or MSc in Accounting.
- At least two years of pertinent experience in preparing audit working papers, financial statements, and tax return documentation.
- Strong proficiency with computers and experience using accounting and audit-related software.
- Excellent communication abilities.
- Demonstrated capability to meet stringent deadlines.
