Position Overview and Responsibilities
As a Software Project Manager at iSoftStone, you will oversee the end-to-end delivery of AI Agent business modules, ensuring projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with scope and quality standards. Your role involves ownership of project lifecycles, proactive resolution of scheduling issues, risk mitigation, and managing cross-module resources to keep parallel deliveries aligned. Thorough adherence to Statement of Work (SOW) obligations and client acceptance criteria is essential.
Client Relations and Stakeholder Engagement
You will serve as the principal point of communication between clients and the company, conducting meetings independently in English. Responsibilities include presenting project plans, progress reports, and risk assessments, while fostering trust with government stakeholders. Managing client expectations and implementing change request processes — including impact assessments on scope, timeline, and costs — are also key duties.
Coordination and Agile Processes
This role demands oversight of geographically distributed teams, including on-site business analysts and remote developers located in China and Saudi Arabia. You will synchronize efforts with client platform engineers and government bodies to ensure design and delivery conformity, as well as facilitate all Agile ceremonies such as Sprint Planning, Reviews, Retrospectives, and requirement sign-offs.
Reporting and Documentation
Maintaining transparency through regular reporting in English to internal and client leadership is vital. You will document meetings, track action items, and contribute to the creation of core project documents such as High-Level Solution Designs and Business Requirement Documents.
Qualification Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Project Management, Business Administration, or related disciplines
- Minimum of five years in formal project management roles, including at least two projects involving international or overseas clients
- Proficiency in English, both spoken and written, to independently handle client negotiations and produce formal project reports without language assistance
