Company Overview
Path Robotics is dedicated to advancing the future of embodied intelligence through AI-powered systems. These systems allow robots to adapt, learn, and perform tasks in real environments, addressing skilled labor shortages and revolutionizing manufacturing sectors. By integrating perception, reasoning, and control, the company delivers AI solutions that are practical, reliable, risk-aware, and improve continuously via real-world application.
Job Overview
As a Software Engineer focusing on C# and front-end development with React, you will be instrumental in developing user interfaces that bridge our software with the end users. Your role involves creating interactive cloud platforms where customers convert CAD models into weld plans, as well as operator touchscreen interfaces used on factory floors to control robotic welding cells. Our system seamlessly integrates multiple manufacturing tools including robots and sensors with advanced algorithms.
Technical Stack and Tools
- Develop with React and TypeScript within a shared Nx monorepo, using MUI, Redux Toolkit, Vite, react-hook-form, and i18n for internationalization.
- Implement interactive 3D visualizations using three.js to display parts, welds, and robotic scenes.
- Work on back-end services utilizing Node.js and C# frameworks to support the user interfaces.
- Utilize Git for version control with branching strategies for code management.
- Leverage Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform to manage cloud infrastructure primarily on AWS.
- Maintain CI/CD processes using GitHub Actions to enable smooth software deployment.
- Collaborate through Slack, Jira/Confluence, and Google Workspace tools.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including engineers and designers to ensure smooth integration and deployment cycles.
- Engage in code reviews, providing insightful feedback to uphold top-tier code quality standards.
- Participate actively in the complete software development lifecycle, spanning requirement analysis through to deployment and ongoing maintenance.
- Diagnose and resolve complex technical challenges as they arise.
- Design and implement front-end components for both customer-facing authoring platforms and operator human-machine interfaces.
- Deploy new features securely using feature flags and entitlement controls.
- Create automated tests and rapidly address bugs to maintain system reliability.
- Develop reusable, high-performance components optimized for end-to-end workflow scenarios.
- Stay informed of new technologies and trends, incorporating improvements that enhance product functionality and user experience.
Candidate Profile
- Holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related discipline, or equivalent relevant experience.
- Possesses between 1 and 6 years of professional experience contributing to live software applications.
- Demonstrates strong expertise in React and TypeScript, comfortable within a shared component library and monorepo environment.
- Contains experience working on back-end services using Node.js and/or C#, along with relational database integration.
- Proficient with development operations tools including Git, CI/CD pipelines, and containerized deployments using Docker, Kubernetes, within AWS cloud infrastructure.
- Additional advantages include skills in data visualization or 3D graphics (three.js/WebGL), advanced state management, accessibility best practices, or industrial/HMI interface development.
Team and Culture Fit
- Excited by the dynamism of a growing venture-backed startup and motivated by making a noticeable impact through your work.
- Effective collaborator who enjoys working with others to achieve shared objectives.
- Committed to mentoring colleagues, promoting best practices, and fostering continuous skill development.
- Quality-driven, aiming to deliver reliable, well-crafted code that supports rapid, trustworthy product delivery.
Employee Benefits and Perks
- Complimentary daily lunches to energize and connect team members.
- Flexible paid time off policies allowing you to recharge when needed.
- Comprehensive health insurance including medical, dental, and vision coverage.
- Generous parental leave totaling 6 weeks paid, with an additional 6 to 8 weeks for birthing parents, equaling up to 12 to 14 weeks.
- Retirement savings plan (401k) through Empower.
- Attractive employee referral bonuses to support company growth.
