About the Role
The Enterprise Advanced team, spread across Europe and India, develops scalable software solutions that enable MongoDB to operate on any infrastructure worldwide. Their focus is on adapting software for managing MongoDB clusters in data centers and private cloud platforms, enhancing capabilities for self-managing customers.
As a Software Engineer 3, you will contribute to core features across key products such as Ops Manager, Cloud Manager, and Automation, supporting large enterprise customers who manage vast clusters and data volumes. This role is based in Dublin with a hybrid working model or remotely within Ireland, reporting to an Engineering Manager located in Poland.
Main Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and deploy features for Ops Manager.
- Incrementally deliver components of complex projects through thorough testing.
- Embed the company’s core values in planning, design, and coding practices.
- Help diagnose and resolve bugs encountered in customer environments.

Required Qualifications
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java or Go.
- Understanding of Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Knowledge of multi-threaded, asynchronous, and distributed system concepts.
- Strong foundation in Computer Science principles including data structures and algorithms.
- Solid grasp of Object-Oriented programming concepts.
- Ability to architect modular and intricate systems.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with cloud services like AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or Microsoft Azure, including container technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, or Openshift.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools and build infrastructures like GitHub Actions, Jenkins, and Bazel.
- Hands-on involvement with production systems.
- Interest or experience in full-stack web application development.
