Role Overview

Join DRW's Singapore office as a Software Developer Intern focused on developing sophisticated trading and risk management applications using advanced technology. You will work closely with senior technology experts to design and deploy performance-critical software solutions within the internship period. Key Responsibilities

• Create, test, and implement custom software tools used throughout the firm such as decoders that convert raw exchange data into usable formats.
• Develop normalizing modules that construct trading books per instrument from decoded market data.
• Build applications to support communication of trade executions to compliance departments.
• Innovate practical approaches to complex technical challenges and clearly communicate these ideas to your team for adoption.
• Undertake thorough data-driven research applying statistical analytics on substantial datasets.
• Collaborate closely with software developers, quantitative traders, researchers, and business analysts in cross-disciplinary teams.

Candidate Profile

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in computer science, electrical engineering, computer engineering, physics, mathematics, or related scientific fields, targeting graduation between December 2027 and June 2028.
• Familiar with network programming concepts including TCP/IP, multithreading, computational intelligence, real-time software, or GUI development.
• Solid grasp of object-oriented design principles, efficient data structures, and algorithmic problem-solving.
• Proficient in C++ or C programming languages with a strong eagerness to quickly learn emerging technologies.
