About the Role
Rivers Agency is seeking a Social Content Manager with a strong grasp of both strategic planning and hands-on execution. This position suits someone adept at crafting intelligent content strategies, producing engaging posts, coordinating across several clients, and maintaining steady project progress.
You will contribute to diverse B2B and B2C brands by developing and overseeing social content that aligns with broader brand and campaign objectives. Collaboration with the Social Media & Influencer Relations Manager and the design team will be important to deliver consistent and high-quality creative concepts.
Key Responsibilities
- Formulate social media strategies emphasizing brand alignment and platform-specific best practices for multiple clients.
- Create and schedule content tailored for Meta, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and LinkedIn.
- Develop compelling, clear, and brand-consistent captions and copy for postings.
- Oversee content calendars, publishing timelines, and deadlines across various accounts.
- Analyze performance metrics from Sprout Social, Meta Business Suite, and similar platforms to uncover insights and potential improvements.
- Prepare reports and presentation materials that effectively communicate outcomes and suggestions.
- Assist with influencer identification, outreach activities, and relationship nurturing.
- Edit short-form videos using tools such as CapCut or equivalents.
- Coordinate tasks, schedules, and approval processes via Asana.
- Keep updated on social media platform changes, trending content formats, and new opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of five years managing social media accounts for brands, in agency or corporate environments.
- Demonstrated track record of creating content that boosts engagement, reach, and audience growth.
- Extensive knowledge of Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and LinkedIn, including what content performs best on each.
- Proficiency with social media management and analytics tools such as Sprout Social or Hootsuite.
- Exceptional writing skills capable of adapting to various brand tones and audiences.
- Experience producing, editing, and publishing short-form video content using CapCut, Adobe Premiere, Canva, or similar software.
- Keen creative judgment on impactful hooks, visuals, timing, captions, and trends.
- Ability to interpret performance data and apply insights for content optimization.
- Highly organized approach for managing multiple brand accounts, content schedules, and deadlines simultaneously.
- Comfort presenting strategic ideas and results to clients and internal stakeholders.
- Self-motivated, collaborative, reliable, and actively pursuing continuous improvement.
