About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Site Engineer to join our team responsible for delivering a high-quality residential development in Waterford. This role offers a chance to contribute significantly to a major housing project within a collaborative and professional project team.
Responsibilities
- Providing precise setting out and ongoing technical assistance during the construction phase.
- Ensuring that construction activities conform strictly to drawings, specifications, and schedule requirements.
- Coordinating closely with project managers, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and site personnel to maintain workflow efficiency.
- Overseeing quality control activities, conducting inspections, and managing technical documentation submissions.
- Reviewing technical drawings, resolving queries, and facilitating effective communication of project information.
- Keeping comprehensive records and guaranteeing compliance with health and safety as well as quality standards.
- Facilitating project progress from construction initiation through to successful completion.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Site Engineer within residential construction projects.
- Strong proficiency in setting out and technical aspects of site engineering.
- Good understanding of construction methods, technical drawings, and project specifications.
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities to work effectively within a project team.
Additional Information
Remuneration includes an approximate annual salary of €85,000 along with a benefits package. The position is based onsite within the Waterford Metropolitan Area and requires close collaboration with diverse stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
