Shift Lead - Clonmel

Role Purpose

The Shift Lead plays a vital role in overseeing the fill operation to ensure the sales floor is fully prepared for trading. This position involves managing resources effectively to Serve, Sell, and Fill, as well as leading the store floor in the absence of the Colleague Manager.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the fill operation, coaching team members on Standard Operating Procedures and promoting efficiency to prepare for store opening.
• Assign resources strategically to ensure swift payment processing and maintain customer satisfaction.
• Implement daily operational processes across the assigned store area promptly and accurately.
• Organize the team to maintain a clean, safe, and visually appealing store environment.
• Foster an inclusive and positive team culture that welcomes all colleagues.
• Exemplify excellent customer service and uphold the company's values and behavioural standards throughout the store.
• Assist Colleague Managers by providing feedback on team performance and acknowledging outstanding contributions.
• Offer support to neighboring stores when operationally necessary.
• Serve as a key holder responsible for responding to call outs as needed.
• Manage opening and closing duties, including handling deliveries, monitoring temperatures, reporting operational issues to designated support desks, managing cash procedures, and ensuring compliance with Trading Standards legislation during off-peak hours.
