Role Overview and Responsibilities

• Develop and architect backend systems and APIs designed for critical, real-time accounting operations, primarily using Python.
• Complete end-to-end feature delivery encompassing architecture design, continuous integration and deployment, testing protocols, and monitoring.
• Efficiently integrate third-party applications and external systems, meticulously managing edge cases and minimizing risk.

Qualifications and Experience

• At least five years of backend engineering experience, regardless of the programming language.
• Extensive background designing and maintaining products with intricate business logic.
• Strong proficiency with relational databases including PostgreSQL, SQL querying, Object-Relational Mapping (ORM) tools, schema design, and migrations.
• Experience with cloud deployment, preferably AWS or equivalent platforms, alongside robust CI/CD practices and production-ready software operation.
• Bonus skills: expertise in Python frameworks like FastAPI, Flask, or Django.

Compensation and Benefits

• Equity grants ranging from $50,000 to $80,000.
• Competitive base salary between $140,000 and $250,000 annually.
