About the Role
Join a rapidly expanding global technology firm that acquires and supports software entities serving niche industries. This position offers a unique chance to influence the company's trajectory by sourcing top-tier talent for critical corporate departments.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end recruitment processes for departments like Corporate Development, M&A, Finance, Legal, Sales, and Marketing, including senior and executive level positions.
- Develop and maintain robust talent pipelines via proactive networking and strategic sourcing techniques.
- Collaborate closely with Vice Presidents and C-suite executives to provide labor market insights, set hiring expectations, and impact talent-related decisions.
- Utilize recruitment data to monitor candidate pipeline health, track search progress, and refine hiring strategies.
- Improve recruitment workflows, advocate best practices in applicant tracking systems, and contribute to the evolution of the talent acquisition function.
- Offer insights into industry trends to support wider workforce planning and talent strategy development.
Skills and Qualifications
- Minimum of 7 years in recruitment roles, including at least 5 years within in-house talent acquisition.
- Background recruiting for corporate specialties such as Finance, Corporate Development, Legal, Sales, Marketing; M&A experience is advantageous.
- Proven track record of cultivating lasting candidate relationships through active sourcing and networking techniques.
- Outstanding communication, relationship, and stakeholder management skills with demonstrated experience advising senior leadership.
- Strong analytical abilities, competent in using ATS tools, recruitment technologies, and interpreting hiring metrics.
- Adaptable and resourceful personality suited to a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment with multiple competing demands.
- Collaborative mindset capable of working effectively across People, Finance, and broader business teams.
Additional Information
This position is based in Toronto, Ontario, with a hybrid work setup requiring three days onsite weekly. Advanced proficiency in English, both written and verbal, is required.
