Role Overview

The Senior Software Engineer will design, build, optimize, and maintain enterprise-grade APIs and microservices. This role focuses on scalable and secure software solutions built with the latest Microsoft technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop API services using .NET 8 and C#.
• Create reusable microservices and domain-level services.
• Generate API contracts and document using Swagger/OpenAPI specifications.
• Implement security mechanisms and integrate with API gateways.
• Improve application performance and scalability.
• Engage in architectural and peer code reviews.
• Assist with production support and conduct root cause analysis for incidents.
• Collaborate with DevOps and Site Reliability Engineering teams during deployments.
• Provide technical mentorship and guidance to junior developers.

Required Expertise

• Proficient with .NET 8+ and C# development.
• Experience in building ASP.NET Core applications.
• Strong understanding of RESTful API design and implementation.
• Familiarity with OpenAPI/Swagger for API documentation.
• Working knowledge of Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
• Experience with GitHub Enterprise for source control.
• Integration experience with Kong API Gateway.
• Competence in unit and integration testing methodologies.
• Familiarity with both SQL and NoSQL database systems.

Professional Experience

• 7 to 10 years of overall software development experience.
• At least 4 years dedicated to API engineering.
