Position Overview

The Senior Services Consultant for the aPay Dayforce product plays a vital role across all phases of the aPay implementation lifecycle including discovery, configuration, testing, deployment, and post-launch support. Reporting to the Project Manager, this role involves leading activities to deliver tailored and high-quality payroll solutions to Dayforce customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Capture and confirm customer business requirements and align these with aPay Dayforce capabilities.
• Devise and document innovative payroll solutions to fulfill client needs.
• Configure aPay Dayforce modules according to documented client specifications.
• Lead consulting sessions both virtually and in-person, ensuring detailed documentation of outcomes.
• Engage actively in customer testing phases and swiftly resolve any identified defects.
• Participate in internal project meetings and report on progress and deliverables.
• Provide ongoing consultancy and support within areas of expertise to clients post-implementation.
• Act as a subject matter expert and primary point of contact for specific functional domains for internal and external users.

Preferred Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
• 5 to 7 years in software implementation roles; experience with payroll or HR systems preferred. Knowledge of Ascender Pay is a bonus but not essential.
• Proven experience in software design, implementation, and documentation.
• Strong analytical, creative, and critical thinking skills with decisive problem-solving abilities.
• Exceptional communication skills, including written and verbal proficiency, and prior consulting experience with external clients.
• Highly organized with ability to manage time efficiently, meet deadlines, and operate effectively under pressure.
• Capability to function independently or collaboratively within project teams.
