Role Overview
CrestPoint Strategic Advisors seeks a Senior Program Manager to join a leading private equity client based in New York City. The candidate will work on-site to oversee a multi-phase data platform and technology modernization initiative involving data architecture, reporting, AI integrations, and accounting systems implementation.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans encompassing phases, milestones, and tasks; lead technical stand-up meetings and monitor progress.
- Provide consistent, transparent status reports to executive sponsors and client leadership; identify and resolve risks, impediments, and dependencies in collaboration with the technical team.
- Act as the central communication bridge linking business stakeholders and technical delivery teams; align project roadmap with evolving business objectives.
- Collaborate closely with developers to translate business workflows, metrics, and calculations into detailed functional and technical specifications.
- Work with business data stewards to uphold data dictionaries, calculation protocols, adjustment processes, and ensure data integrity.
Qualifications
- Over 7 years of experience in private equity investment operations technology, including exposure to fund administration, portfolio investment data, and fund accounting systems.
- Demonstrated proficiency managing technology and data platform projects in roles blending program management, project management, and senior business analysis.
- Working knowledge of private equity-specific systems, data frameworks, and accounting principles.
- Excellent communication skills with experience engaging senior executives and managing stakeholder relationships.
- Skilled at bridging business and technical teams by articulating business requirements into clear deliverables.
- Strong organizational capability in maintaining project schedules and leading scrum-style meetings.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Information Systems, or related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
- Familiarity with data warehouses and reporting tools like Power BI.
- Background within private equity firms, fund administrators, or consulting/technology firms serving alternative investments.
- Knowledge of large language models, AI tools (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT), and automated workflow enhancements is a significant advantage.

- Leadership has complete and timely insights into project progress, risks, and future plans without unexpected developments.
- The technical team receives thoroughly documented requirements on time, avoiding delays due to ambiguous business input.
- Data and calculation standards are precise, current, and trusted by all stakeholders.
