Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Hydrographic Surveyor to join our team in Crosshaven, County Cork, Ireland. This position involves the collection of hydrographic data, system calibration, and ensuring all equipment remains in optimal working condition.
Key Responsibilities
- Collecting and managing hydrographic survey data effectively.
- Ensuring quality control throughout the data acquisition process.
- Mobilising, calibrating, and maintaining hydrographic equipment.
- Supporting data processing operations both offshore and within office settings.
- Supervising and guiding junior survey team members.
Mandatory Qualifications and Experience
- At least four years of proven experience in hydrographic surveying.
- A degree in hydrography or a related marine science discipline.
- Proficiency with up-to-date hydrographic equipment.
- Strong understanding of GNSS (Global Navigation Satellite System) and INS (Inertial Navigation Systems).
- Experience with both data acquisition and processing software used in hydrography.
- Capability to perform offshore duties.
- Willingness and ability to travel across EU locations as required.
