Role Summary

The Senior Financial Analyst will play a crucial role in financial planning, forecasting, and operational analytics supporting important business sectors. Responsibilities

Lead initiatives in financial planning and analysis such as annual budgets, forecasts, and continuous financial modeling for major business units.
Collaborate with department heads to collect financial data, align budgets with corporate priorities, and facilitate optimal resource distribution.
Develop and improve financial models to project operating expenses, identify patterns, and uncover risks and opportunities.
Conduct variance analyses comparing actual outcomes to budgets and forecasts, determine causes, and propose corrective steps.
Create clear financial reports, dashboards, and presentations to convey findings and aid leadership decisions.
Oversee and assess operating expenditures, including technology costs, to ensure they meet financial goals.
Establish and track KPIs measuring operational efficiency, effectiveness, and overall financial health.
Support accurate and timely preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
Work alongside finance teams and stakeholders to enhance reporting uniformity, processes, and operational productivity.
Effectively communicate financial insights to both finance-savvy and non-financial personnel across the enterprise.

Requirements

Between 3 and 5 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, preferably within SaaS, technology, or fast-paced growth businesses.
A bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a closely related discipline.
Solid expertise in financial modeling, forecasting, budgeting, and business analytics.
Advanced proficiency in spreadsheet applications such as Excel and Google Sheets.
Experience using financial planning software like Workday or Adaptive Planning is advantageous.
Strong analytical mindset and problem-solving abilities to interpret complex financial data and deliver actionable insights.
Excellent communication skills in both written and oral forms to present financial data to varied audiences.
High attention to detail, accuracy, and strong organizational capabilities.
Ability to juggle multiple assignments, meet deadlines, and perform well in fast-paced settings.
