Senior Designer

At FBC Remodel, as a Senior Designer, you will collaborate with an Interior Designer to develop designs, present multiple concept options, finalize plan reviews, and coordinate with on-site superintendents to bring designs to life.

Key Responsibilities

• Capture homeowners’ visions, develop and present design concepts, oversee final design details, and secure client sign-off.
• Lead and mentor an interior designer handling detailed construction notes, 2D and 3D renderings, and material selections.
• Ensure a delightful client experience throughout the planning process.
• Produce innovative designs that inspire homeowners.
• Apply excellent active listening skills to tailor designs to homeowner preferences.
• Participate in project closing walks and job completion reviews.
• Consistently meet monthly, quarterly, and annual design sales goals.

Compensation and Benefits

• Base salary range: $55,000 to $70,000 plus commissions.
• Expected commissions: $30,000 to $55,000, calculated at 1.6% of contract cost.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years sales-related experience.
• Degree or certification in architecture, space planning, or interior design.
• Experience reading blueprints, drafting construction notes, and communicating estimates.
• Proficiency in design software; Chief Architect preferred, or 20/20 and AutoCAD accepted.
• Commitment to mastering Chief Architect software before starting.
• Eagerness to learn and implement the FBC Remodel design and sales process.
• Growth mindset focused on accountability, teamwork, and creativity.
• After onboarding, ability to achieve sales targets of $270,000 per month.
• Valid driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle required.
