Senior Accountant

Position Overview

We are seeking a meticulous and experienced Senior Accountant to become an integral part of our finance team. This role demands a strong grasp of accounting fundamentals, sharp analytical capabilities, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all phases of the accounting process including journal entries, ledger management, and financial close activities.
• Administer compliance with Zakat, Value Added Tax (VAT), and Withholding Tax following ZATCA guidelines.
• Prepare, scrutinize, and file tax and Zakat declarations punctually.
• Ensure all financial transactions receive correct accounting treatment and necessary approvals.
• Liaise with both external and internal auditors by supplying them with necessary documentation and explanations.
• Generate periodic financial statements and reports for management review.
• Guarantee adherence to IFRS and local legal accounting standards.
• Efficiently operate ERP and other accounting software systems.
• Assist management by providing financial analyses to support informed decisions.
• Experience in IT or technology sector companies is considered highly advantageous.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
• Holding a CMA certification is preferred.
• At least five years of pertinent experience in accounting roles.
• Competency in accounting software tools and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
