Role Overview

We are searching for a Security Project Manager to oversee the delivery of complex ICT and security initiatives within a stringent, high-security context. This pivotal position directs project execution and organisational change management, collaborating with diverse stakeholders to drive strategic capability improvements. The role is a 12-month fixed-term contract based in Victoria, Queensland, and/or the Australian Capital Territory, with potential for extension.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead planning and execution of complex ICT and security projects from start to finish.
• Design and implement change management strategies to ensure smooth adoption of new technologies and procedures.
• Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, risk mitigation, and change control.
• Gather, prioritize, and align business and technical requirements with project goals.
• Develop and maintain effective stakeholder relationships, providing transparent updates and communications.
• Monitor project progress to guarantee on-time, on-budget, and high-quality delivery.
• Contribute to policy creation, procedural documentation, and training to support project success.
• Encourage collaboration across technical teams, business units, and leadership to meet objectives.

Qualifications and Experience

• Demonstrated success managing medium to large-scale ICT or security projects in complex settings.
• Strong expertise in project governance, risk management, budgeting, and delivery oversight.
• Experience leading organisational change and business transformation efforts.
• Skilled in defining and managing both business and technical requirements across project phases.
• Exceptional communication, stakeholder engagement, and relationship management abilities.
• Capacity to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams while balancing priorities.
• Current Top Secret Positive Vetting (TSPV) security clearance.
• Australian citizenship and eligibility to operate within a highly secure environment.

Additional Requirements

• Valid Working with Children Check (WWCC) and Police Check must be held.
