Overview

Hexagon Multivista is searching for an experienced Scheduler to deliver consulting services to key clients within the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) sector, located in the New York/New Jersey area. This role involves providing expertise in project controls, scheduling, performance reporting, and project oversight to ensure effective planning, execution, and delivery of projects.

Key Responsibilities

The role integrates technical scheduling proficiency with consultancy skills shaped by extensive industry experience. The Scheduler will handle project controls responsibilities, including development, maintenance, and analysis of project timelines utilizing Primavera P6 software. Responsibilities include conducting baseline and schedule update assessments, generating performance reports on a monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc basis, and performing schedule and cost variance analyses through methods such as critical path and risk analysis.

The Scheduler will maintain resource and engineering code structures, track project progress and resource allocations, document project control processes and execution strategies, and formulate scheduling standards and best practices. Additionally, the role entails mentoring project controls team members, aiding with Primavera P6 administration, rollout, and delivering user training for scheduling software and related reporting tools.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 7 years of professional experience in Construction Management and Scheduling.
  • Proficiency with Primavera P6; familiarity with Microsoft Project is advantageous.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Capability to perform baseline and schedule update reviews, supported by practical examples from prior projects.
