Job Overview
The SAP PPQM Consultant role in Udaipur involves leading and supporting SAP PP and QM module implementations, customizations, and enhancements within manufacturing and quality processes, requiring 5 to 8 years of experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead SAP PP and QM implementations, rollouts, and continuous process improvements.
- Configure production planning processes including MRP, BOM, Routing, Production Orders, and Capacity Planning.
- Manage quality management processes such as Quality Planning, Inspection, Notifications, and Audits.
- Provide tailored business solutions aligned with manufacturing and quality workflows.
- Perform end-to-end SAP PP/QM configuration adhering to business requirements.
- Develop functional specifications for enhancements and coordinate with technical teams on RICEF developments.
- Ensure seamless integration with other SAP modules like MM, SD, PM, and FI, troubleshooting cross-module challenges.
- Utilize basic to intermediate ABAP skills to debug and collaborate with developers to meet business needs.
- Oversee integration and smooth data exchange with third-party applications such as LIMS and external booking systems, coordinating vendor support.
- Manage compliance and prepare for IT, process, and quality audits ensuring alignment with organizational and regulatory standards.
- Provide Level 2 and 3 support, conduct root cause analyses, and drive continuous improvements in production and quality processes.
- Support IT/business audits including ICFR, SOX, ISO, and VAPT, ensuring audit readiness and compliance.
- Conduct periodic access reviews, risk assessments, gap identification, and implement corrective actions.
Qualifications and Skills
- Strong expertise in manufacturing and quality management domains.
- Hands-on SAP PP and QM module configuration experience.
- Good understanding of integration across SAP modules MM, SD, PM, FI.
- Familiarity with ABAP debugging and code interpretation.
- Experience managing third-party and non-SAP system integrations.
- Knowledge of audit procedures, compliance standards, and documentation.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication capabilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- SAP PP and/or QM certification.
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA.
- Exposure to LIMS or similar manufacturing/quality platforms.
