Guests can enjoy amenities including a heated outdoor pool, tennis courts, basketball and netball courts, BBQ area, gym, and a children's corner. For events, the hotel features six modern function rooms accommodating up to 500 attendees.

Role Overview

Novotel Surfers Paradise is searching for vibrant and dedicated Room Attendants to become part of our Housekeeping team. The ideal candidates will have previous hotel cleaning experience, especially in properties with 200 or more rooms. This casual role requires commitment to upholding high cleanliness standards and delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Duties

• Respond promptly to guest requests and inquiries.
• Thoroughly clean guest rooms to meet brand quality standards.
• Carry out assigned cleaning tasks across the hotel ensuring consistency.
• Handle and transport soiled linens and rubbish effectively.
• Follow correct procedures for chemical use and safety measures.

Candidate Profile

• Demonstrated experience in hotel housekeeping.
• Positive attitude with excellent customer service skills and friendly demeanor.
• Attention to detail paired with strong time management.
• Good communication skills and ability to operate two-way radios professionally.
• Well-groomed personal appearance.
• Willingness to work flexible hours including early mornings, late evenings, weekends, public holidays, and school holidays on a rotating roster.
• Knowledge of safe manual handling and chemical handling techniques.
• Must possess valid unrestricted work rights to work in Australia; sponsorships are not provided.
