Risk Specialist

About the Role

Ali & Sons Holding LLC in Abu Dhabi, UAE, is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Risk Specialist to aid in establishing and enhancing the Group's Risk Management Framework. This position suits someone with robust expertise in corporate governance and business continuity, keen on helping organizations identify, evaluate, and manage risks while assisting in strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate the deployment and ongoing refinement of the Risk Management Framework.
• Maintain and update the Corporate Risk Register consistently.
• Conduct comprehensive risk evaluations across various business units and oversee the efficiency of risk control measures.
• Track Key Risk Indicators and uncover emerging risks.
• Compile risk reports, create dashboards, and prepare presentations for executive leadership.
• Ensure adherence to corporate governance standards and international frameworks like ISO 31000 and COSO ERM.
• Assist in formulating and revising risk management policies, processes, and approaches.
• Support initiatives related to Business Continuity Management, Business Impact Analysis, and crisis response.
• Deliver educational sessions on risk awareness and encourage risk accountability throughout the organization.
• Work collaboratively with departments including Internal Audit, Compliance, Finance, Legal, Information Security, HR, and operations.
• Support the adoption of Governance, Risk & Compliance systems alongside ongoing improvement efforts.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Risk Management, Finance, Business Administration, or a similar field.
• At least three years of professional experience in Risk Management roles.
• Experience working within diverse organizations or holding companies is advantageous.
• Professional certifications such as CRMP, ISO 31000, CIA, CISA, or related ERM qualifications are strongly preferred.
• Strong analytical capabilities combined with excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
