The company connects patients with certified doctors and specialists, links to partner labs and hospitals, and securely manages patient health records through its proprietary MedoPlus app. To extend healthcare support in rural areas, MedoPlus has established a network of village healthcare assistants called MedoMITRs who assist villagers in navigating medical services.
Currently, MedoPlus collaborates with over 550 healthcare providers and runs MedoMITRs in more than 500 villages across central Uttar Pradesh. The platform has facilitated over 150,000 health transactions and has received prestigious accolades including the FICCI Healthcare Excellence Award 2024, Bharat Artha Awards 2024, and the Swiss Re Foundation Award in 2023.
Position Overview
The company is seeking four energetic, skilled Pharmacists to join their in-house pharmacy teams at MedoPlus Clinics located in Tikaitganj, Ramnagar, Suratganj, and Dariyabaad in Barabanki district. This frontline, revenue-generating role is integral to executing MedoPlus's mission by leading and managing rural channel partnerships effectively.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Operate and manage MedoPlus in-house pharmacy, ensuring strict compliance with standard operating procedures (SOPs) related to inventory and stock management.
- Procure medicines and stock items based on inputs from medical professionals and market demands to maintain adequate supply.
- Oversee the pharmacy’s profit and loss to ensure financial accountability.
- Maintain pharmacy operational hours from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM consistently.
- Work collaboratively as part of the team, assist colleagues, and troubleshoot issues proactively.
- Utilize computers and smartphones efficiently for daily pharmacy operations and record-keeping.
- Adhere to all necessary pharmacy regulations and licensing requirements to ensure full compliance.
Candidate Profile and Requirements
- Possess a Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) degree with a valid registration/license to practice as a pharmacist.
- Must not be currently affiliated with any other distributor or retailer.
- Comprehensive knowledge of medicines and their chemical composition.
- Strong passion to provide healthcare services to rural populations.
- Excellent team player with problem-solving skills and readiness to support fellow team members.
Additional Information
- Registered Pharmacist license is preferred.
- Incentives are offered on top of the monthly salary.
- Location is strictly on-site at MedoPlus Clinics mentioned above.
Compensation
The monthly remuneration ranges from INR 12,000 to 18,000, with applicable incentives beyond the base salary.
