Role Overview

We are seeking a dependable and meticulous Cleaner to manage cleaning services across residential rental properties. Responsibilities include performing move-in and move-out cleans, rental turnovers, and preparing listings for viewings. This position requires someone able to work autonomously, adhere to cleaning protocols, document tasks meticulously, and highlight any property concerns that might require further attention before listing or occupancy.

Key Responsibilities

Attend scheduled cleaning appointments at residential rentals, including move-in, move-out, turnover, and pre-listing preparations.
Perform comprehensive cleaning of kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, living spaces, hallways, appliances, floors, surfaces, cabinets, and fixtures.
Eliminate dust, dirt, debris, garbage, and any leftover items.
Wipe down counters, sinks, mirrors, doors, baseboards, and frequently touched surfaces.
Vacuum, sweep, mop, and maintain floor cleanliness.
Clean interiors of appliances such as refrigerators, stoves, ovens, microwaves, dishwashers, washers, and dryers as needed.
Identify areas requiring additional cleaning, junk removal, repairs, maintenance, or follow-up actions.
Capture clear before-and-after photographs and video documentation of properties and cleaning outcomes.
Submit detailed updates, notes, photos, and video evidence after each assignment.
Maintain professional communication with landlords, applicants, tenants (when applicable), and internal teams.
Adhere strictly to company instructions, cleaning checklists, access protocols, and appointment details.

Typical Tasks Include

Move-in and move-out cleaning
Rental turnover cleaning
Deep cleaning of kitchens, bathrooms, and floors
Appliance cleaning
Surface dusting and cabinet/drawer cleaning
Cleaning window sills and baseboards
Garbage removal and light debris management
Preparing properties for listing photos, showings, inspections, or new tenant move-in

Candidate Requirements

Prior experience in residential cleaning roles such as housekeeper, cleaning contractor, or similar capacity.
Comprehensive understanding of residential cleaning standards.
Reliable personal transportation to travel between properties.
Possession of necessary cleaning supplies and equipment for appointments.
Comfort and capability to work independently at rental properties.
Use of a high-quality camera smartphone, such as iPhone 13 or equivalent, to document work.
Ability to take clear photos and videos of cleaned areas and submit detailed notes.
Strong independence, punctuality, professionalism, and attention to detail.
Ability to follow detailed checklists and property access instructions accurately.
Professional and respectful communication skills with landlords, applicants, tenants, and internal teams.

Additional Preferred Qualifications

Experience specifically with move-in, move-out, or rental turnover cleaning.
Familiarity with preparing residential rentals for listing photos, showings, and inspections.
Ability to recognize property damages, maintenance issues, junk removal needs, pest problems, access difficulties, or safety hazards.
History of working independently in field roles related to property management, leasing, cleaning, or home services.
