Regional IT Operations Manager

Role Overview

A prominent multinational corporation specializing in large-scale engineering and industrial projects seeks a Regional IT Operations Manager based in Singapore. This position involves managing IT operations throughout the Asia Pacific region, ensuring robust IT service delivery across multiple sites. The role demands close collaboration with regional leaders, global technology teams, and external suppliers to support business functions and foster continuous enhancements.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead IT operations at a regional level to maintain consistent and efficient technology services across various countries.
• Collaborate with business leadership and global IT departments to align regional operational priorities with corporate technology standards and governance.
• Manage regional IT budgets, support demand planning, and ensure fiscal responsibility in operational activities.
• Serve as the primary escalation contact for critical operational incidents, facilitating swift resolution with internal and external parties.
• Identify opportunities to implement lasting improvements in service delivery and operational processes.
• Champion the use of standardized IT processes, governance frameworks, and best practices to improve service quality and operational productivity across the region.

Essential Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Extensive experience managing enterprise IT operations in large multinational organizations.
• Solid knowledge of IT Service Management frameworks such as ITIL or similar standards.
• Track record in overseeing regional IT service delivery, operational planning, and technology support in multiple locations.
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills, comfortable interacting with senior executives, global IT teams, and vendors.
• Experience navigating complex issues within a global matrix organizational setup.
• Familiarity with enterprise IT infrastructure, cloud platforms, networking, end-user computing, and applications.
• Willingness and availability for extensive travel across the Asia Pacific region.
