Recruiting Specialist

Role Summary

This position involves conducting research, recruitment, screening, interviewing, and referring qualified candidates for both exempt and non-exempt roles. The role requires proficient interviewing skills, familiarity with manufacturing and specialized company functions, understanding of company personnel policies, and knowledge of applicable federal and state employment laws.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with management to identify staffing needs including qualifications and skills required.
• Create and strategize job advertisements across various media such as newspapers, journals, and online platforms.
• Understand the strategic directions at both plant and campus levels.
• Manage and resolve visa-related challenges for prospective employees.
• Share effective internet recruiting strategies with colleagues to enhance candidate sourcing.
• Negotiate salary and relocation offers to achieve mutually beneficial agreements.
• Arrange and assess employee relocation in line with company policies, including movement of household goods.
• Build and maintain networks with agencies to source qualified candidates.
• Provide candidates with comprehensive information about company facilities and job opportunities.
• Ensure all clerical tasks comply with federal, state, and EEOC regulations.
• Organize necessary travel for candidates during interview or relocation processes.
• Utilize trend analyses and metrics to drive continuous recruitment improvements.
• Implement best-in-field recruiting practices and innovations.
• Exhibit strong customer service by addressing issues promptly and exceeding expectations.
• Lead by example and fully comply with company policies and procedures.
• Exchange recruiting knowledge across various company facilities.
• Support hiring managers throughout the interviewing and hiring process.
• Identify opportunities to enhance employee retention.
• Work with Employment Manager to set measurable objectives and personal development goals.
• Maintain a professional image, foster team accomplishments, and actively participate in team communications.
• Communicate recruitment strategy progress regularly to management.
• Support cost reduction initiatives by streamlining recruitment processes and monitoring departmental expenses.
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information appropriately.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university.
• Between two to five years of recruiting experience.
• Professional HR certification such as PHR or HR Management is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this role is $65,500 to $117,900, with actual pay determined considering experience, qualifications, location, education, market data, and internal equity. The benefits package includes medical, dental, and vision coverage; paid time off accruing at 3.07 hours per month in the first year; 4 weeks of paid parental leave; 11 paid holidays in 2026 (including fixed and floating holidays); 401(k) retirement plan; and an employee stock purchase plan.
