Role Overview
The Recruiter position is crucial in assisting the human resources team by supporting the Senior Recruiter and the Vice President of Human Resources across various HR duties. This role focuses heavily on talent acquisition, onboarding, and sustaining effective HR operations aligned with organizational objectives. The Recruiter is responsible for attracting qualified candidates, facilitating a seamless onboarding experience, and contributing to nurturing a positive work environment. This role demands a proactive, meticulous individual capable of managing multiple priorities while aligning with company policies and community standards. A passion for community service and thorough knowledge of HR best practices are essential for driving team and client success.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the complete recruitment cycle: posting jobs, screening applicants, conducting interviews, and selecting suitable candidates.
- Work collaboratively with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and devise efficient recruitment strategies.
- Coordinate and lead onboarding procedures to ensure new employees receive thorough orientation and integration into company policies and community expectations.
- Maintain detailed and current recruitment records to support organizational tracking and compliance.
- Help craft employment advertisements to attract a broad and diverse candidate pool.
- Engage in outreach efforts aimed at broadening candidate diversity and inclusion.
- Support various HR initiatives such as employee engagement, compliance, and training programs for a constructive workplace culture.
- Maintain regular communication with internal teams and external partners to meet recruitment deadlines and goals effectively.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Previous experience in recruitment, staffing, or HR support with preference for community-based or healthcare environments.
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities to foster relationships with diverse candidates and stakeholders.
- Excellent organizational skills, keen attention to detail, and capability to handle multiple assignments efficiently.
- Familiarity with federal and state employment regulations and HRIS platforms is a plus.
