About Remote Legal Staff
Remote Legal Staff connects highly skilled legal professionals worldwide with U.S. law firms, managing hires from regions including Latin America, the Philippines, and South Africa. The company not only places talent but also trains and supports them to foster long-term legal careers.
Role Overview
We are expanding a specialized recruitment team with three key focus areas: Marketing & Sourcing (talent attraction and pipeline development), Screening & Assessment (interviews and candidate evaluation), and Profiling (candidate intelligence and hiring recommendations). Candidates should indicate their area of expertise when applying to ensure a good fit.
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively attract and source talent from Latin America, the Philippines, South Africa, and other regions.
- Develop and manage employer branding, recruitment initiatives, and candidate pipelines tailored to your recruitment specialty.
- Perform candidate screening assessing foundational skills, communication, judgment, and critical thinking, focusing on mindset and ownership beyond resumes.
- Conduct structured competency-based interviews and assessments with thorough documentation.
- Utilize AI tools and ATS platforms consistently as part of daily recruitment activities.
- Handle multiple concurrent job openings while maintaining high standards.
- Collaborate with Operations to prioritize hires that support long-term retention over rapid placement.
- Continuously refine sourcing, screening, or profiling techniques depending on your recruitment track.
- Ensure no low-quality candidates are presented to clients, regardless of pipeline pressures.
- Keep candidate pipelines organized, current, and actively advancing.
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum of three years' full-cycle recruiting experience, preferably in staffing or agency settings.
- Proven skills in active sourcing, including Boolean searches and passive candidate outreach.
- Strong command of written and spoken English.
- Ability to make swift, evidence-based hiring decisions.
- Experience working with global talent pools from LATAM, Philippines, and South Africa is advantageous.
- Proficiency with ATS systems, Google Workspace, Slack, and recruiting-related AI tools.
- Highly organized with dependable follow-through and self-motivation.
- Availability to work consistent US Pacific Time hours.
- Legal recruitment experience is an asset but not mandatory.
Performance Expectations
- By 30 days: Independently manage core responsibilities and use recruitment tools effectively.
- By 60 days: Deliver quality outcomes without detailed supervision and manage growing workload.
- By 90 days: Fully integrated team member achieving KPIs, leading calibration, and identifying process improvements.
Benefits & Perks
- 100% remote work with flexible schedules.
- Competitive base salary with annual performance and loyalty bonuses.
- Company-sponsored health insurance.
- Generous paid time off increasing with tenure (up to 30 days), including a birthday day off and seven U.S. holidays.
- Five paid sick days and bereavement leave yearly, plus personal unpaid leave options.
- Stipends for home office equipment, computer replacements, and internet costs—with increases over time.
- Professional growth opportunities through training and education support for high performers.
- Supportive team culture focused on mutual success and visible impact work.
- Clear advancement pathways with internal promotions and performance rewards.
Hiring Process
The recruitment process is fully remote and asynchronous initially, beginning with a written application, followed by a flexible self-paced assessment. Selected candidates proceed to schedule live interviews. Transparent communication and respect for candidate time are priorities throughout.
