Role Overview
We are seeking a dependable and skilled Reach Operator to join the team located in Māngere. You will work Monday to Friday from 6:00 am to 3:00 pm in a dynamic distribution environment where safety and precision are paramount.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate a reach forklift safely and effectively inside the warehouse.
- Load, unload, stack, and move inventory with accuracy and care.
- Pick and pack orders utilizing RF scanners and warehouse management systems.
- Replenish stock and help maintain precise inventory control.
- Support general warehouse activities as required.
- Perform daily pre-start inspections of equipment and promptly report faults or damages.
- Ensure work areas remain tidy and well-organized.
- Maintain a strong commitment to health and safety protocols at all times.
Candidate Profile
- Possesses a current Reach Forklift License with proven operational experience.
- Holds a clean Ministry of Justice Report.
- Previous experience in warehouse or distribution settings.
- Attention to detail with a focus on accuracy.
- Positive demeanor combined with a strong work ethic.
- Capable of working autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Effective communication skills and eagerness to learn.
- Reliable transportation to and from work.
