Quantitative Analyst - Finance, Derivatives, and Crypto

Role Overview

This position involves critically evaluating finance-related tasks to ensure they are realistic and accurate, mirroring authentic industry standards. The role focuses on enhancing the quality of AI evaluation projects by providing detailed feedback and maintaining high standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze individual finance tasks and workflows to verify professional authenticity, clarity, appropriate scope, and logical consistency.
• Determine if inputs, contexts, and expected workflows accurately reflect real-world finance practices.
• Detect any missing assumptions, vague instructions, unsupported requirements, or constraints that are impractical.
• Identify tasks that are overly broad or generic, which could dilute meaningful finance capability signals.
• Deliver concise and organized written feedback with specific suggestions aimed at improving task realism.
• Collaborate with trusted domain experts to cross-verify task logic and uphold quality standards throughout the sprint.

Core Qualifications

• Demonstrated extensive experience (minimum 5 years) in trading or cryptocurrency environments.
• Professional background in areas such as derivatives trading, volatility analysis, foreign exchange, futures trading, market making, systematic execution, cryptocurrency markets, decentralized finance, or market microstructure.
• Strong quantitative analytical skills with practical knowledge of pricing models, hedging strategies, liquidity considerations, and risk management.
• Capability to differentiate between theoretically correct approaches and those feasible within actual market contexts.
• Excellent written communication skills with an aptitude for clearly explaining analysis results and reasoning.
• Experience in reviewing analytical work, approving outputs, designing control mechanisms, or establishing quality benchmarks is advantageous for senior applicants.

Compensation and Work Schedule

This is a remote contract opportunity offering an hourly rate between $180 and $235. Weekly commitment ranges from 10 to 40 hours.
