Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled Quality Engineer to join a prominent high-tech electronics company based in Eindhoven. This position entails overseeing product quality throughout its entire lifecycle, with a concentrated effort on New Product Introduction (NPI), customer quality assurance, and electronics manufacturing processes, particularly in PCBA environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the quality aspects of New Product Introduction including design transfer, process validation, and risk evaluations.
- Serve as the primary liaison for addressing customer quality concerns and managing escalations effectively.
- Lead in-depth root cause investigations using methodologies such as 8D, 5 Whys, and Ishikawa to implement sustainable corrective measures.
- Ensure synchronization of customer requirements with internal quality protocols.
- Provide quality support within electronic and PCBA manufacturing operations.
- Promote continuous enhancement of both product and process quality standards.
- Collaborate extensively with research & development, manufacturing, and supply chain teams.
Candidate Profile
- Possess a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering disciplines such as Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial, or related fields.
- Approximately 7 years of professional experience in Quality Engineering roles.
- Strong background in electronics manufacturing, with PCBA experience considered an advantage.
- Demonstrated expertise in New Product Introduction and customer-centric quality management.
- Proficient in quality improvement tools including 8D, FMEA, 5 Whys, Ishikawa diagrams, and APQP methodologies.
- Exhibit robust analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Effective communicator with skills to engage internal teams and external clients confidently.
