Quality Audit Engineer - Field Role

About the Role

This field-based quality audit position is a deputed, off-roll role through Quess Corp Ltd for Indus Towers. The job focuses on civil and tower quality checks across project sites, with responsibility for ensuring that construction activity meets approved standards, safety norms, and technical requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out routine civil quality audits at project locations in line with company and project quality expectations.
• Examine civil construction activities including foundations, structural work, concreting, excavation, backfilling, and finishing.
• Review tower installations to assess structural condition, alignment, and build quality.
• Cross-check execution against approved drawings, BOQs, technical specifications, and applicable IS codes.
• Evaluate the quality of materials used, workmanship, and overall construction methods.
• Spot deviations or non-compliances and document audit findings with practical corrective suggestions.
• Track the closure of corrective and preventive action items.
• Draft detailed audit reports with observations, evidence, and site photographs.
• Ensure compliance with safety, statutory, and quality-related procedures.
• Work closely with project teams, contractors, and vendors to close quality gaps.
• Keep records and documentation updated and properly maintained.
• Assist with internal and external quality audits whenever needed.

Candidate Profile

Applicants should hold a B.Tech/B.E in Civil Engineering or Mechanical Engineering. The role suits professionals who understand civil construction processes, site inspection methods, quality systems, and audit procedures. Candidates must be comfortable working independently, moving across project locations, and coordinating with multiple stakeholders.

This is an off-roll deputation role assigned through Quess Corp Ltd. The position is based in Anantapur, India and involves travel to project sites as part of the job.

Eligibility

B.Tech / B.E. in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
