Role Overview

The QA/QC Engineer will play a pivotal role in supporting the enhancement and execution of the Integrated Management System (IMS) in line with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and ISO 29001. This position requires ensuring compliance with QA/QC protocols across both workshop and field service activities, collaborating closely with the QHSE Manager on procedure development, KPI monitoring, data analysis, internal auditing, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Main Responsibilities

• Maintain expertise in ISO management system standards and apply knowledge of API, ASME, and industry-specific codes and practices to company processes.
• Oversee production of QA/QC documentation, develop Inspection & Test Plans (ITP), and manage Non-Conformance Reports (NCR) and corrective actions.
• Verify calibration activities and ensure accurate use of test instruments.
• Interpret technical drawings, specifications, and OEM manuals as part of inspection and repair processes.
• Evaluate rotating equipment repairs, conduct inspections, analyze failures, and support maintenance processes.
• Lead and document quality checks, including dimensional verification, material tracking, and cleanliness inspections.
• Assist in creating, updating, and controlling procedural, process, and specification documents.
• Conduct and participate in internal and external quality audits, maintain audit preparedness, and facilitate closure of audit findings.
• Document and monitor action plans arising from the IMS, ensuring prompt resolution.
• Drive process optimization and continuous improvement projects, including tracking related KPIs.
• Coordinate all NCR meetings, supplier NCRs, and support the Supply Chain Management (SCM) team in vendor evaluation and development.
• Champion the achievement of quality, safety, and environmental objectives across teams.
• Lead improvement initiatives informed by data analysis, audit findings, and management reviews.
• Guide departments in implementing, communicating, and recording process, documentation, and control changes within the IMS.
• Assist in the development of requirements for IT solutions that support company processes.
• Advise stakeholders, including managers and process owners, on IMS standards and compliance.

Qualifications & Experience

• 5–7 years’ experience in QA/QC or IMS roles, ideally in the rotating equipment, oil & gas, or turbomachinery sectors.
• Direct involvement in inspection, overhaul, and repair within rotating/turbo machinery environments.
• At least 3 years’ experience managing systems or auditing management systems.
• Comprehensive understanding of API codes applicable to rotating equipment and mechanical assets.
• Competence in preparing ITPs, Quality Control Plans (QCPs), and QA/QC dossiers.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications is required; exposure to Power BI is beneficial.
• Hands-on experience with internal and certification audit processes.
