QA Engineer

Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled QA Engineer to oversee and manage quality assurance processes within our metal industry operations. This full-time role based in Saudi Arabia demands a thorough understanding of quality systems, customer requirements, and process improvements to uphold product excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate all quality-related activities to ensure compliance and excellence.
• Develop and implement quality control plans tailored to customer specifications.
• Prepare and submit pre-production documentation for approval according to order requirements.
• Review and approve vendor documents to ensure alignment with quality standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to investigate and analyze customer complaints and non-conformances.
• Lead the Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) process, ensuring closure within specified timelines and promoting continuous improvements.
• Analyze and resolve product deficiencies effectively.
• Maintain and ensure the implementation of quality system requirements.
• Communicate and coordinate with customers regarding any quality concerns.
• Manage the processing and record-keeping of customer complaints.
• Develop and update standard operating procedures and work instructions used across the company.
• Compile quality reports that detail findings and progress.
• Perform statistical studies to verify process capability and reliability.
• Maintain and enhance the Quality Management System (QMS) to meet required standards.
• Evaluate QMS issues and ensure procedural compliance.
• Handle non-conforming materials and products responsibly.
• Conduct API, ISO, customer audits, and third-party inspections as needed.
• Perform evaluations of new vendors and re-evaluate existing approved vendors.
• Plan, conduct, and lead internal quality management system audits as assigned.
• Carry out additional documentation, coordination, and assigned activities as directed by superiors.
• Undertake other duties as required.

Qualifications and Experience

• Diploma or Degree in Quality, Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 8 years of experience in Quality Assurance or Quality Control roles.
• Deep familiarity with Quality Management System requirements.
• Strong knowledge of relevant products, technical standards, and codes.
• Well-versed in processes and industry best practices.
• Experience as Management Representative (MR), Lead Auditor, Internal Auditor, or Quality System Trainer.
• Proficient in quality tools and measurement techniques.
• Excellent investigative and problem-solving abilities.
• Fluent in both written and spoken English and Arabic.
• Good command of Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience with ERP systems is essential.
