Job description

Role Overview

As a Public Area Cleaner at Hotel du Vin Birmingham, you will be an essential member of the Housekeeping team, responsible for maintaining cleanliness and tidiness in all public hotel areas on a daily basis. You will uphold meticulous standards with a keen eye for detail and provide a welcoming environment for guests, requiring conversational English proficiency and the ability to work independently during some shifts.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Cleaning and ensuring the upkeep of public spaces throughout the hotel.
  • Following training on the proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
  • Working mainly fixed shifts, 5 days per week with start times at 9 or 10am, with occasional flexibility required during peak periods.

Candidate Requirements

  • No prior experience necessary; a positive attitude and commitment to making a difference in the hotel environment are essential.
  • Good conversational English skills to interact with guests.
  • Physical fitness to perform the demanding cleaning tasks.
