Propane Delivery Driver (Class 3A) - 6-Month Temporary Position

About the Role

Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL) is recruiting drivers for a temporary, 6-month term to join their propane delivery team in Yorkton, Saskatchewan. This part-time opportunity runs from mid-September over the busy season. Compensation ranges from $29 to $34 per hour, depending on experience. FCL provides all necessary training and equipment, with the potential for contract extension. Drivers will operate locally, allowing for daily return home.

Primary Duties

• Deliver propane products to customers across agricultural, commercial, and residential sectors while maintaining a professional and positive customer service presence.
• Conduct detailed vehicle inspections before and after trips, accurately record hours, and report any concerns via an electronic log system.
• Perform routine vehicle maintenance and minor repairs to ensure reliability and safety.
• Adhere strictly to safety guidelines, company policies, and regulatory requirements at all times.

Team and Work Environment

You will collaborate with a team of drivers and service technicians, reporting to the Supervisor of Propane Distribution. The team is centered on fostering exceptional customer service, safety excellence, and promoting a balanced work-life environment.

Candidate Profile

• Minimum one year of professional driving experience or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
• Possess a valid Class 3A or Class 1A driving license.
• Comfortable using computers and electronic log systems for daily work tasks.
• Capable of handling physically demanding tasks such as manually pulling equipment weighing at least 50 pounds.
