Role Summary

The Project Manager will lead the Strategy Deployment, Project Management Office (PMO), and governance activities for the PSAI business unit. This role acts as the steward of enterprise-wide execution excellence for the global API and API+ B2B portfolios. Responsibilities include translating strategic objectives into concrete, measurable outcomes, driving transformational change through governance, managing performance reviews, and ensuring the seamless execution of critical business initiatives. Collaborating closely with the PSAI Business Head and cross-functional partners, the position aims to accelerate decision-making, mitigate risks proactively, and strengthen organizational effectiveness to achieve sustainable growth and customer success.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and manage the comprehensive PSAI Strategy Deployment Process by converting business strategies into clear objectives, KPIs, execution plans, and tangible results.
• Lead the PMO for key PSAI priorities, transformation initiatives, and major enterprise programs to ensure disciplined execution, adherence to milestones, risk management, and benefit realization.
• Develop and maintain a strong performance governance framework comprising business and operational reviews, scorecards, dashboards, and action tracking to enhance transparency and accountability.
• Implement governance-driven transformation mechanisms within API and API+ business segments through structured operating models, decision-making forums, escalation procedures, and consistent performance management.
• Collaborate with commercial, operations, supply chain, quality, R&D, finance, and support functions to ensure cross-functional coordination and timely fulfillment of strategic and operational priorities.
• Offer strategic advice to support executive decision-making on critical business, organizational, and stakeholder concerns.
• Identify potential enterprise risks, execution bottlenecks, and dependencies, driving timely corrective actions to maintain strategic momentum.
• Facilitate executive-level governance meetings and review forums with a focus on insightful, data-driven discussions, prompt decisions, and effective closure of action items.
• Create enterprise-wide visibility through management dashboards, KPI scorecards, and analytics to enable continuous performance monitoring and informed decision-making.
• Promote a culture of execution excellence, continuous improvement, accountability, and outcome focus throughout the PSAI global B2B business.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Chemical Engineering, or related fields.
• MBA or an equivalent postgraduate qualification from a reputed institution is preferred.
• More than 2 years of experience in strategy execution, business transformation, PMO, consulting, or governance roles within complex matrixed organizations.
• Demonstrated track record of leading enterprise-wide strategic initiatives, transformation programs, and strategy deployment processes.
• Certifications such as Project Management, Business Transformation, Lean/Six Sigma, Strategy Execution, or Program Management will be advantageous.
• Sound knowledge of the pharmaceutical domain, particularly APIs, API+, CDMO/CMO operations, formulations, and global B2B business models.
