About the Opportunity

Located in Queens Park, Western Australia, this role offers a prime chance to lead major coastal infrastructure works. Our WA division is rapidly expanding with a robust project pipeline focusing on marine and remedial projects along the coastline. We are searching for a seasoned Project Manager or Senior Project Manager to oversee challenging projects valued between $5 million and $20 million, contributing to the growth of our remedial division and delivering impactful infrastructure solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Take full ownership of end-to-end delivery for marine and remedial projects.
• Formulate and implement project strategies, schedules, and critical milestones.
• Identify, assess, and manage risks to uphold safety and successful project completion.
• Promote and maintain a zero-harm safety culture throughout all operations.
• Build and nurture client relationships, anticipate their requirements, and pursue opportunities for business growth.
• Drive commercial success via efficient cost control and resource management.
• Handle contract administration, claims, and manage commercial risks efficiently.
• Lead and mentor project teams and subcontractors, fostering a productive work environment.
• Manage procurement activities including labor, materials, and service negotiations.
• Encourage innovation and continuous improvement initiatives at project sites.
• Prepare and deliver accurate project reporting, forecasting, and performance evaluations.
• Lead the project close-out process, ensuring all deliverables and financial matters are resolved.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Construction.
• Postgraduate qualification in Project Management is highly preferred.
• At least eight years of experience in construction, including leadership or Project Manager roles.
• Demonstrated success in managing medium to large-scale projects ranging from $5 million to $20 million.
• Experience with marine, civil, or remedial project environments is strongly desirable.
• Sound knowledge of Australian Standards and relevant regulations.
• Strong commercial insight with skills in contract and risk management.
• Exceptional organisational skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent communication capabilities to interact confidently with clients, teams, and stakeholders.
