Role Summary

We seek an experienced Project Manager possessing substantial Capital Markets knowledge to lead strategic initiatives across Front Office, Middle Office, Risk, Finance, and Operations areas. The role encompasses complete project delivery oversight, stakeholder coordination, governance, and execution of transformation programs in a global capital markets context.

Responsibilities

Lead full lifecycle delivery of Capital Markets projects from initiation to implementation.
Create and maintain comprehensive project plans, schedules, budgets, milestones, and resource strategies.
Identify, monitor, and address project risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies.
Manage project governance processes including status reporting and communication with stakeholders.
Ensure projects meet their scope, deadlines, budgets, and quality benchmarks.
Collaborate closely with business users, IT teams, operations, risk, and compliance personnel.
Lead requirements gathering, facilitate solution design workshops, and oversee business process evaluations.
Manage stakeholder expectations and keep senior leadership regularly informed.
Coordinate activities of cross-functional teams across various regions.
Drive strategic change initiatives related to trading, risk management, operations, and post-trade activities.
Support business transformation efforts, process improvements, and platform upgrades.
Ensure alignment between business strategies and technology implementations.
Oversee vendor and third-party relationships as necessary.

Required Expertise

1 to 3 years of Project Management experience in Banking or Financial Services sectors.
Strong knowledge of Capital Markets including Equities, Fixed Income, FX, Derivatives, and Trade Lifecycle.
Proven record in managing large-scale business and technology transformation projects.
Familiarity with Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid project management methodologies.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Experience handling distributed global teams.

Foreign Exchange (FX) operations
Derivative instruments (Exchange-Traded and Over-The-Counter)
Trade Lifecycle Management and front-to-back office processes
Trade Capture, Confirmation, Settlement, and Reconciliation procedures
Market and Counterparty Risk assessment
Trading and Investment Banking operational workflows

Preferred Credentials

Certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, or Scrum Master.
Experience with tools including JIRA, Confluence, MS Project, and Power BI.
Background working with global investment banks, capital markets firms, or financial institutions.
Understanding of trading platforms, risk management systems, and market data frameworks.
