Project Data Analyst

Overview

Minería Futuro is seeking a Project Data Analyst at the entry or junior level to join their remote team based in the United States. This role involves combining data analysis skills with project management to provide actionable insights that support project decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather, cleanse, and analyze data related to projects to enable effective reporting and decision making
• Create dashboards, reports, and data visualizations to track project performance and metrics
• Work closely with project managers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to understand requirements
• Track project key performance indicators (KPIs) and identify trends, risks, or potential improvements
• Respond to ad-hoc data requests and conduct analyses for current projects
• Maintain documentation on data sources, analysis techniques, and reporting workflows
• Contribute to enhancing data accuracy and reporting efficiency for project data

Candidate Requirements

• Entry-level or junior candidates with 0 to 3+ years of experience, including internships, in data analysis or project coordination
• Familiarity with tools such as Excel, SQL, and data visualization software like Tableau, Power BI, or Looker
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and organizational abilities
• Capability to interpret data insights and communicate clear, actionable suggestions
• Effective communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences
• Detail-focused and able to manage multiple responsibilities in a remote work setting
• Fluent English language skills
• Legally authorized to work full time in the United States
