Program Management Office Consultant

Job Overview

Oak Tree Software is hiring a Program Management Office (PMO) Consultant on a contract basis to assist with transforming an enterprise Application Management organization. This position is based in Regensburg, Germany with a hybrid work setting, starting on 1 October 2026 and lasting until 31 March 2027, with a possibility of extension.

Responsibilities

• Assist with project planning, scheduling, and governance activities to ensure smooth project execution.
• Monitor project milestones, dependencies, risks, and key performance indicators effectively.
• Compile status reports, dashboards, meeting minutes, and maintain thorough project documentation.
• Facilitate coordination among stakeholders, project meetings, and communications.
• Conduct project controlling tasks, including resource planning and variance analysis.
• Create and uphold PMO standards, templates, and governance protocols.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in PMO roles, project coordination, or project management support.
• In-depth knowledge of project planning, governance, reporting, and controlling processes.
• Hands-on experience with resource planning, time tracking, and performance report generation.
• Proficiency with project management and collaboration tools such as MS Project, Jira, Confluence, and SharePoint.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
