Role Overview

The Production Director for Snack Bars is a full-time position located onsite in Jonesboro, AR. This role entails managing all facets of snack bar production, including daily scheduling, resource distribution, and supervising staff to achieve top quality, safety, and productivity standards. Collaborating cross-functionally, the Production Director implements production strategies, streamlines operations, and addresses any manufacturing challenges.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily manufacturing activities ensuring alignment with production plans and demand.
• Manage staff performance and workflow to optimize efficiency and product quality.
• Monitor production metrics and drive initiatives that foster continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, including GMP and HACCP standards.
• Work closely with supply chain teams to ensure material availability and support new product launches.
• Contribute to strategic capacity planning and long-term operational objectives.
• Promote a culture of accountability, teamwork, and innovation within production teams.

Qualifications and Skills

• Extensive experience in production planning and management to effectively oversee operations.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and quality assurance within food production.
• Strategic planning expertise to support operational growth and process optimization.
• Familiarity with food manufacturing standards such as GMP, HACCP, and regulatory requirements.
• Proven leadership skills in coaching teams and managing performance in a production setting.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities with attention to detail.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with operations, R&D, supply chain, and quality assurance teams.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Food Science, Operations Management, or related fields; equivalent practical experience accepted.
• Experience in snack, confectionery, or general food and beverage manufacturing preferred.
